About Room For You:

Room For You is owned and managed by Steve Miller & Alice Miller.

Steve Miller is a registered builder and building inspector. He has been in the building industry for over 30 years and has completed over 3500 building inspections in and around Perth. Steve’s building experience started in his late teens in Sydney NSW helping his dad on the construction site build houses. Steve continued honing his building experience and management skills in Brisbane QLD where he started a building business called Imperial Homes QLD with his brother. Through Steve’s desire to always provide exceptional service to all his clients Imperial Homes QLD went on to winning multiply industry awards for the work they were doing in the construction of new homes throughout Brisbane. This culminated in the crowning achievement when in 2007 Imperial Homes QLD won the prestigious HIA-CSR Australian Small/Medium Builder of the Year.

With a move to Perth in 2011, Steve started Perth Property Inspections and now has completed over 3500 inspections which has given him an invaluable insight in what to look for and what can go wrong if trades do not follow the Building Code and the relevant Australian Standards. As part of his education Steve has studied the National Construction Code, Building Code and Australian Standards and is fully aware of the requirements of these regulations in the construction of new homes and renovations of houses, kitchen, bathroom and laundries.

Alice Miller has extensive experience in the selection of fixtures, fittings and colours. Alice will listen to your likes and dislikes and provide advice on how to achieve the outcome that you desire. Alice wants to help create a look that will suit your personality and complement your lifestyle. Alice is also well experiences in office administration and will be available to help with all communications throughout the process and is there to help in any way she can to make sure that whatever the project is it will be a memorable experience for you.
